Biography
Scott M. Tschirhart is a Partner with the Firm. Mr. Tschirhart earned his Bachelor of Arts in criminal justice from the University of Texas at San Antonio (magna cum laude) in 1996, and his Juris Doctor from Baylor University School of Law (cum laude) in 1999. He was admitted to the State Bar of Texas in 1999. He has 20 years of legal experience, mainly in Civil litigation and 13 years of local government and municipal law. He is an experienced litigator, particularly in federal civil rights defense and appeals, as well as representing local government clients in matters ranging from employment from employment discrimination to condemnation suits. He also provides day-to-day legal advice for police departments and guidance for critical incidents. Mr. Tschirhart is admitted to practice before the U.S. District Court for the Northern, Southern, Eastern and Western Districts of Texas, the 5th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals, the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit and the United States Supreme Court. Mr. Tschirhart also has 12 years of experience as a licensed Texas Peace Officer.
