Biography
Allison A. Bastian-Rodriguez joined the Rio Grande Valley office of the Firm as an Associate in 2018, she is now a Partner with the Firm and has over 16 years of municipal legal experience. Before joining the firm, Ms. Bastian-Rodriguez served as the Assistant, and then Deputy, City Attorney for the City of Brownsville.
Her practice focuses on public entity real estate transactions, including purchase and sale, lease, and easement agreements, along with related financing agreements; economic development corporations, including incentives agreements and related land transactions; regulation and governance of land use; and general contracting issues for governmental entities.
She also provides general legal support in the Firm's City Attorney/General Counsel practice areas – including open meetings and elections issues, ordinance drafting, and public information requests.
Ms. Bastian-Rodriguez earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts in visual communication from the University of Oklahoma in 1994 and received her Juris Doctor from Oklahoma City University in 2007.
